Where on my SARS form do I submit info for a Unit Trust Investment if I get a IT3(b) Portfolio income summary?

The interest details (foreign and local) need to be included within "investment income".
Exempt local dividends are included within "Amounts considered non-taxable".

I can't see a place where it says "investment income" - is that by the start of my form? If I am saving, shouldn't I put it under "retirement and Income Protection Contributions" under "Deductions" - at the end of my form?

In the opening questions, you need to indicate that you received interest and dividends and then the relevant sections of the Tax Return will be generated. Investment income section will be straight after the IRP5/IT3A if you have one. This is for interest and dividends earned on your savings so it is the correct place to reflect it.
