Whats taking sars so long to pay me cos the ITA34 shows they owe me?

I submitted my tax return through SARS e filing on the 1st July 2015; got results on 07/08/15. On the 08/07 I got correspondence that I didn't file/submit tax return for 2011 and I was not working on that year. I submitted an affidavit on the 08/07 and until now I'm not getting the money SARS owe me back. What may be the delay?

They will take 21 days to process this due to the old tax return status from 2011, unfortunately you will need to be patient in this regard, but your refund will be paid out.
