What is the period of getting your money back ?

I submitted my tax return on Wednesday 2013/07/31 and it was confirmed that I would get R1536 back and still today am still waiting for that money. When do you think I will get it exactly ?

We're you asked to provide supporting documents? Sometimes the communication from SARS does not get through, but if they want to see some supporting proof of the expenses / incomes you claim then they will withhold your refund until they get the documents. Otherwise refunds are usually paid in a day or two, unless they have the incorrect banking details for you, or you have changed them recently and not provided proof of the change.
