What is tax deductible?

I am being retrenched 31 July, I will then pay my study fees in full. My question is eFiling be able to claim from SARS while I am studying and not working?

You cannot claim against no income, because there would be no tax to refund. However given that you will only have worked a part of the year and if you still contribute to any funds or medical you can submit a claim for the coming year which will result in you getting a refund.
