Unpaid Taxed due to confusion

I was under the impression that my tax was deducted from my commission earnings from 2012. I have now discovered that it was not an I was responsible for paying tax. I want to sort this out with SARS but I don't have the total estimated outstanding to pay over for my portion of the tax. is there some way I can apply for a payment plan or concession?

You can yes, you must go into a SARS branch and speak with a consultant in order to do this. Take with all your documents and allow them to make the application with you.
