How is the travel allowance taxed if you do not receive a car allowance, use personal vehicle and exceed 8000km for business travel? Company pays the standard rate per km, and no other allowance is received in respect of travel.

Do you keep a logbook of your work and personal travels?

I keep a log book for business travel only.

It would be taxed as if you just received one lumpsum per month. Please make use of our Travel Allowance to work out what your deduction will be.
