Tax return for expats

I emigrated from south africa 6 years ago and I'm no longer a south african citizen. I ve only visited sa once for about 30 days in the last 6 years. Do I still need to file a tax return?

It is always best to file a return, even a nil return, but no it is not necessary to file.
