Is tax calculated on a monthly or yearly salary? If your salary increases within the financial year, will the tax owing be increased only for the remaining months or will the entire years premiums be adjusted?

It is calculated on your annual salary, if there is no increase then effectively it is the same thing. Please make use of our SARS income tax calculator to see what the differences will be.
