No I didn't receive any letter from SARS, I just receive an sms , which says I am selected for Audit, then after I went to the SARS branch I showed them the sms then they told me I must bring supporting document, lucky I was with them, then they scanned the supporting document, so I don't know when they'll they refund me, because I went to their office on the 1st September.

Once you have submitted supporting documents it can take 30 days for SARS to issue their final assessment. Please read our article on why you may have a delayed refund from SARS

They will either refund you or do a further audit, but you must be patient your refund will be paid out.

Can you please explain to me what does" Final assessment ''mean coz I don't Understand it clear whether that is to refund or is part of audit

Your final assessment will be the total and final amount either owing to SARS or owing to you by SARS. IT is the result of all the audits.
