You have been selected for audit/verification, then submit all supporting documents and later a letter for completion of audit issued but no money is paid after couple days. Does this mean that you are still verified somewhere on the system or payment is delayed for period of 21 days?

Please read our blog on why you may have a delayed refund from SARS.

You can also phone SARS to see if you have any outstanding tax returns from prior years as this may be delaying your refund.

Yes payment can take up to 21 days to come through.
