Second ITA34?

Hi I submitted my tax to SARS and they asked for supporting documents, so me been me I only submitted half the documents, now I can?%u20AC%u2122t upload anymore, it is greyed out! In the meantime I realized that I made a mistake, so I requested correction and submitted ITR12 again. Now on my new ITA34 (top right corner) it says that I owe SARS money, but down the bottom it says that I am due a refund. Will they now disregard the first one and work on the second ITR12 or do I still have to submit the documents that they have asked for in the first place?

The second paragraph on the new ITA34 with the balance on your account is the correct amount and takes everything into account.

So I don't need to submit any more documents that they asked for when submitted the first time? Now just play the waiting game?

Unless they have asked for more documents then no you do not have to.

This is what my ITA34 says: Thank you for submitting your income tax return for the 2014 year of assessment. Your assessment has been concluded and reflects an amount payable by you of R **** . Payment should be made by 2015-01-31 after which interest will accrue on this assessment as from 2014-08-01

Please note that this amount only reflects your income tax assessment and does not reflect tax payable under any previous assessment or any other balances on your account. The current balance on your assessed account is R -****.

Statement of accound reads assesed tax. Do I just wait now?

You need to wait, that ITA34 is standard, but the payment periods refer to amounts owed to SARS not your refund.
