On the logbook do you need to give reason if a zero entry is made on a day of no travel?

On my logbook I have several entries as zero where I did not use my vehicle for travel. does one need to give reason for this on the logbook?

The tax return requires the total amounts from the beginning of the period up until the end so you would just add up all the days and enter in the total mileage.
