Non-commission, no car allowance. Can I claim travel expense?

I'm not on commission and don't get a car allowance. But have done 17,000km in my car for business. Can this be claimed? Or can the 4015 code only be used for commission earners? What should I do?

Unfortunately the 4015 is only for commission earners. Is it written into your contract that you can use your car for work purposes? If so you could depreciate your car over 5 years and then apportion that for business mileage over actual mileage according to your logbook- which you must have kept. You can the put that amount in the return under Depreciation in the Other Deductions section.
