SARS has many branches in the following locations: Eastern Cape, Free state, Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Northern Cape, North Wes and Western Cape. Since Covid started SARS does not allow any physical visits to their branches and request you to make an online booking via SARS efiling. Please follow the below instructions to make an online appointment with SARS. (Luckily the process is quite easy)   1. Go to the following link: https://tools.sars.gov.za/SARSeBooking 2. Make an appointment that suits you best. 3. They will supply you with a case number, take the case number and go to the following link to submit the following supporting documents: https://tools.sars.gov.za/SOQS/?queryType=5 1. Copy of your ID (certified copy) 2. Proof of address not older than 3 months (SARS does not accept a bank statement as proof of address) 3. Bank statement as proof of bank 4. All supporting documents related to your query.   SARS will call you a few days before your appointment to get the accurate reason for the appointment, this will be saved on the case number you received when you initially made your appointment. The case will be allocated to a different consultant, and they will contact you during the hour you scheduled your appointment to assist you with your query.
