Must I inform SARS about having had children?

I registered before having children long ago but now I have two. Must I inform SARS about the responsibility I have now and how it'll change my monthly tax from my salary?

You do not have to inform SARS about the number of children you have. The number of children you have only affects your tax matters if the children are dependents on your medical aid, because then you would qualify for a greater deduction on your medical aid contributions.
