Medical aid - paid by employer and self

My employer paid my medical aid until August 2014 and I paid thereafter. How do I declare this on my tax return?

You would show in the medical section the amount you personally spent only. Remember to include the number of members for the full year. The amount from your employer will form part of the IRP5 section automatically. Register for TaxTim and let us assist you in completing and filing your tax return with SARS.
