Is tax payable to the government from the salary I earn in South Africa?

I am going to work in South Africa. Is there any money I have to pay to the government from my salary.

If you are paid from a South African company and are working in SA for longer than 90 days then you will have to pay tax on the money earned in SA. Your employer will take off tax each month, depending on what you earn, and pay it over to the government.

You can use our SARS income tax calculator to calculate how much tax you will be paying.
