How to claim for a "Tax Credit" due to changing jobs?

I was permanently employed at my previous employer for 8 years. I am with my current employer for 10 months now and have been retrenched. I was fortunate enough to find employment beginning immediately after my retrenchment.

My current earnings are R12k and will be the same at my next employment. How do I go about claiming for a tax credit ( changing jobs makes me applicable from what I've researched)? How do I do my next tax returns with two employer tax certificates (I think it's called IRP 5)

There is no tax credit available, however what often happens is that because of the way PAYE is deducted there is an overlap and too much tax would be paid by one or the other employer. When this happens then a refund is usually due. However if you earn exactly the same and there is no break in employment periods then you most likely will not be due a refund.
