Rudolf says: 2 February 2016 at 13:24 I earn a salary of R10 000. 00, My employer submits the paye. I have started a business sole trader in August 2015. Can I register for the business on my current tax number and what do I need to fill in. |
TaxTim says: 2 February 2016 at 14:35 A business operating as a sole trader is not a separate legal entity. The income and expenses of the business must be declared in your own personal tax return (under your own existing tax number) within the section "Local, Trade and Professional Income". Depending on your earnings, you may need to register for provisional tax as well. What is Provisional Tax? How and when? Am I a Provisional taxpayer? Please also Register for TaxTim and let us assist you with your tax filings. |
