You need to file your tax return in order to see whether you have a refund due or not.
If you are out of date with your tax filings, you need to bring them up to date ASAP. Please bear in mind you may have penalties and/or interest due.

Its just that I paid tax in the past. Last I remember was in 2007. I've never applied for a rebate. The other jobs I had after that were below the tax threshold so my employee didn't charge me tax. Basically I would like for somebody to look into my profile to see if I have a rebate due to me. How do I go about doing this?

Have you filed a tax return before?

No I haven't filed for a tax return before. I just received my normal IRP5's which I now don't have! I received them during the periods 2003-2007 while I was in the employ of the Department of Justice. Hope this helps. I also just need to know if I can check if I could be eligible for a rebate as I am now unemployed.

You have to file a tax return to see if you are due a refund from SARS.
You need to ask your previous employer for a copy of you IRP5 in order to prepare your old tax returns.
