TaxTim says: 23 September 2015 at 17:22 Yes, you need to still file a tax return for 2012 - your company needs to give you an IRP5 for 2012 which will detail your earnings for Jan and Feb 2012. In fact, it is likely you will be due a refund for this period as you have probably paid tax based on a full year while only working for 2 months (assuming you did not work for the other months of the year).
