Do I need to pay tax for a 6 month contract?

I have a contract with a rugby union for 6 month R10 000 pm total is R60 000 for the 6 months. Do I need to pay tax?

They will deduct PAYE each month which if you have overpaid you will be able to claim a refund when you file your next return.
