Can an employer who is not giving you benefits allowed to break down your salary, reducing basic sal



My. Basic salary is R33943.06
My employer break it down as my basic salary is R28169.48 medical aid R3698.00 , vitality R39.00, provident fund R2063.58 rate per hour R192.20 then deduction is tax R6203.69 and UIFR148.72
Is this legal ? My employer does not give me any benefits from all the deductions.

Let me explain My previous employer basic salary was R30857.38 per month . New employer added 10% to be R33943.06. In this company earnings are written as medical aid, vitality, provident fund, basic salary of R28169.48 why not deductions and deductions are tax R6203.69 and UIF R148.72 is this legal , because my next employer will think my basic salary is R28169.48 , instead of R33943.06. There is no additional benefit cause I pay everything from my salary.

This is called your Cost to Company and includes all your deductions and benefits. At your next employment, they will ask for your CTC which is the total amount of R33 943.06. The tax is worked out on this amount less the allowable deductions for all those extra benefits.
