You would then include the business portion of the petrol under the travel section of Tax Deductions and the vehicle you used would be under the depreciation. You can make use of our Wear and Tear calculator to determine the depreciation. Use your logbook to determine the apportionment between business and personal mileage and apply that to all travel related expenses.
