Basic and commission

I would like to know what is the percentage tax on commission.

I earn an R8000 basic and about R4000 commission.

What will I get out at the end of the month?

Thank you

Commission is taxed in the same way as a normal salary, but as it sometimes changes each month the PAYE paid may be different. However at year end it still works out to the same depending on what your overall income is.

On R12 000 per month you will get:

UIF / Unemployment Insurance Fund is levied at 1% of your taxable income, at most R148.72/month
Take home pay = R 12000 - R 1206.66 - R 120
Take home pay: R 10673.34 :)
