Eni says: 8 July 2015 at 16:03 I used to be employed, but from 02/2014 to now I am not. I submitted a nil tax return and have now been selected for audit. They are asking for documents. What can I send them when I said I was unemployed and I did not claim anything. Do they go into my bank account without me knowing or should I email them bank statements? There are deposits in my bank but that is just transfers from my various accounts. No income. Please help. Thank you for the great site. |

TaxTim says: 9 July 2015 at 3:27 You need to send them a letter stating you were unemployed for that period, a sworn affidavit at the police station would be even better if you are able to provide that. |
