If I get a lump sum of R110 000 how much tax will I pay? How do I pay the tax only next year or can I pay it when I get it?

Hi! I would like to resign and will be withdrawing my pension as a lump sum. My contribution plus the companies plus interest, currently stands at around R190 000. I'd like to know, how long will this take to pay out (I'm resigning on August 20)?

Are monthly RA and Living Annuity Income fully taxable added onto salary?



I am receiving income from living annuity, approx R2000.00 per month and an additional R375.00 fixed amount from a retirement annuity. I also am still earning a salary over the threshold limit. I include this in my total earnings, although this is not rental, or trade related. Is this the correct procedure? I am then taxed on the full amount. I am pensionable age.

What is an IR3(b) actually saying??



Does an IT3(B) interest received mean that you will receive that amount after declaring your tax? I received the ir3b from gepf requesting that I add it to my tax submission.

Provident fund doesnt work on my return???

I am 51 yrs old. I took the Volentary Early Retirement Package. The package is R500. 000 and my 1/3 is R1mil. What will my tax be and with what will I be left over?

PAYE payable calculation differences



I would like to find out the PAYE payable on a person receiving R16636. 60 monthly, no pension fund or any other deduction except SDL, UIF and PAYE. This person is 74 years of age, turning 75 in November 2015. I calculated the amount to R1390. 87 but the system calculates it as R1067. 11. I cant seem to figure out why the calculation result differs. For the 2016 tax year.

Can I get IRP5 documents that were destroyed in fire?



I worked for a retail company from 2006 - 2009 and I paid for my Tax. When they retrench us they gave us our IRP5. Mine got got burned in my shack and I lost them. In that way I was never able to claim for my Tax. How do I go about to obtain them again. Does my company have them on record as I am working for another company now and they told me to have my previous employer IRP5 if I need to file for Tax Return purposes.
