My previous employer hasn't reconciled with SARS and hasn't provided IRP5 for 2012 and 2013. I have been to SARS and previous employer and get pushed from pillar to post. What do I do?

What tax is payable on a voluntary retrenchment package and pension fund lump sum withdrawal?

I am 53 and am being retrenched by my company. They have offered a voluntary retrenchment package of approximately 700K. What amount of tax will I pay on this amount? What tax will I pay if I withdraw my pension fund and not transfer it to a preservation fund?

Why pay tax every month but when you submit your returns they sms you that you still owe the tax man

Why is that even though you pay tax every month and you submit your tax returns they still tell you that you owe tax man a certain amount. How do they got to that conclusion?

I have received some money from my partners provident fund, he is deceased. I have only received tax directive from his provident fund insurance, which is on his name. What else should I submit at sars for this, or the tax directive on his name, is it okay?

If you work for 2 different employers within the same tax year, will you get a refund. The first job was a contract and it expired, now I am permanently employed somewhere else.

I am married in community of property. My wife and I had a baby in February. There were quite a few accounts we had to pay cash. The medical aid is in my wife's name. Are we able to claim the medical expenses we paid out of our own pocket after February but the accounts are in February. Also can I claim some of the medical expenses we paid out for the birth of my son instead of my wife claiming as I am not on the medical aid and do not have any medical expenses. Its on my pay as a normal deduction, but shows as capped on the year to date totals (R810) why?

Im permanently disabled and get an income continuation benefit every month from an insurance company. I asked the doctor to complete a ITR-DD confirmation of diagnosis of disability form. Will I then be able to claim medical expenses paid by myself at 100%??

Employer deducting more PAYE than they should

My current employer is deducting more tax than what they should on my salary. I have complained and they say that their system is programmed to do that. I have used several tax calculators even the SARS one but it still proves that I'm paying about R700 more for tax. Please advise if SARS will refund me back this money (all the R700 paid for each month?)

I recently withdrew my pension fund as at end Jan 2015 due to resignation from my previous employer. It was the first time I withdrew a pension fund. Is that not going to have a negative effect on getting a refund with SARS for this tax season?

Help regarding IRP5

My employer refuses to provide me with an IRP5. I fear that if I report him I might lose my job. Can I compile and submit my IRP5 to SARS by myself so that I stay on the right side of the law at least?

My child has been diagnosed with ADD and dyslexia. We have spent a fortune on assessments and therapies not covered by the medical aid. I had to pay these. My partner pays the medical aid. Last year we were on a medical aid that didn't cover these expenses and they have accumulated. Do I send you the total of the therapies and diagnostics?
